Keystone Apartment Buildings Renovation

Client: Nalabila Creek Property Management Ltd.

Architect: Boni Madison Architects

Project: These two apartment buildings were constructed in the 1960’s and required substantial upgrading for code issues, interior finishes, site remediation, mechanical and electrical upgrades. Progressive Ventures was asked to take over this project from another contractor who was unable to finish the work. Both buildings were stripped down to the framing except at the roofs. All the exterior concrete block was replaced, all new windows and doors, and a completely new cladding system with drainage cavity was installed on the frame wells. Other than under-slab drainage lines all plumbing and electrical have been replaced. This project is nearing completion. Three of the four sections of the buildings are now ready for occupancy with the fourth to be completed by the end of 2008. The client will have a new and modern apartment complex to offer to Terrace.

PVL has been the General Contractor on many projects over the last 13 years where I was the Architect including a Gold LEED project for BC Housing. Their ability demonstrated during construction showed that they have the experience and background to execute complicated design and detail with excellent results.
