Client: Chieftain Metals Inc.
Project: We built a rock formed foundation for a steel building intended to become a water treatment facility. This involved layout, drilling and grouting of specified rock anchors, construction of pedestals formed to bedrock and infill of foundation walls to bedrock. We also constructed equipment bases, drain sumps and completed concrete slab installation. For all this work we installed the specified re-enforcing steel. We also built a structural retaining wall for a holding pond facility requiring rock forming to bedrock and water tight construction techniques. All work was completed in a remote location which required excellent co-ordination of material delivery within a tight timeframe.
